Is it really worth it?Kafi from George Brown College and Akeisha from Ryerson University explain why they feel that more education is worth all the time, effort and moneyShane, High school student: "What if I'm not sure if it is worth the time and the money?" Kafi, George Brown College: It will give you a lot of benefit, like after you finish you have more chances of getting a job and getting better pay than not going to school. Nobody want to get minimum wage right now because you are going to have family to take care of so you need a better education and better everything that can help you to go through your life. Akeisha, Ryerson University: Well personally I think education is worth it because it is going to expand your knowledge and that is something that can never be taken away from you, plus I mean, if you want to get a good job that's the way to go. You are going to need to get that knowledge in your head in order to get big bucks, and just for yourself and your own personal growth it's worth it. |
