What if I don't have a required course?

Varun from Ryerson University and Jerome and Natalia from George Brown College provide their advice and perspective on marks and required courses

Caroline, High school student: "What if my grades aren't good enough?"

Varun, Ryerson University: If you do not have the required grade, or your marks are not high enough to get into the college of your choice what you can do is talk to your guidance counselor and I am sure that they can tell you about enhancement courses where you can upgrade your mark and get into the program you are interested in.

Jerome, George Brown College : If your grades are not good enough there is always summer school, or night school classes, or you can go back to high school upgrade. There is always time to go to college or university there is no rush.

Natalia, George Brown College: If you don't think you have the grades to get in it is important to talk to your guidance counselor to see where you are maybe missing where the gaps are and they can maybe help you figure out whether there is summer courses you can pick up, or evening course you can do, and there is also many colleges offering upgrading as well.
