Full-Day KindergartenNearly 600 schools currently offer full-day kindergarten. It will be offered in more than 800 schools in 2011. Search for a list of schools that will offer full-day kindergarten in your area. What and who Who is working in the classroom? Teachers and early childhood educators are working together throughout the day to help children learn.  What happens before and after school? At some schools, you can choose to enrol your child in integrated programs before and after school hours. Why and how Full-day kindergarten is optional but research shows the impact early learning can have on children.  There’s no cost for the regular school day. The integrated before- and after-school program is fee-based and some subsidies will be available.  There are lots of resources and ideas available to help you and your child get ready for full-day kindergarten. Where and what else Which schools offer the program?
