Council of the Federation Literacy Award
The Council of the Federation Literacy Award, created in 2004, recognizes outstanding achievement, innovative practices and excellence in literacy. Thirteen winners are chosen each year, one for each province and territory. The first awards were presented in 2005.

2008 Ontario Award
The 2008 Ontario Council of the Federation Literacy Award will recognize a literacy leader who has successfully raised public awareness and understanding of the issue of literacy. Both individuals and organizations are eligible.
To nominate an exceptional adult literacy leader for the 2008 Council of the Federation Literacy Award, please download the nomination package. This package will provide you with everything you need to know to make your nomination.
All nominations must be received by May 23, 2008.
Award recipients will be announced during the Council’s annual summer meeting in Quebec City, being held July 16-18, 2008.
