How to Use the Registry
The Registry of Bullying Prevention Programs provides Ontario educators with information about bullying prevention programs which may be suitable for purchase and use in elementary and secondary schools. Programs submitted for inclusion in the Registry of Bullying Prevention Programs have been classified by the extent to which they meet the key elements of an effective bullying prevention program (PDF, 25 KB). Some of these elements are outlined in the report of the Safe School Action Team (Shaping Safer Schools: A bullying prevention action report, November 2005
Programs are not evaluated or approved by the Ministry of Education. The Ministry is providing this website as an information source to boards and school authorities to assist them in selecting programs for their schools.
Programs are listed in alphabetical order and include contact names and other information. Readers should contact the program provider directly.
How to List Your Program on the Registry
The current registry contains a small number of the programs available in Ontario. This list will be updated as new information is received. To provide readers with more information, the Ministry encourages providers to submit bullying prevention program information. Providers are invited to complete the Bullying Prevention Program Submission Form. The Registry Classification Checklist is also available for reference.
