In Labour Market Partnerships, a partnership must be formed to achieve the objectives of the project. Sponsors are expected to contribute either funding or in-kind support to the achievement of the project's activities and goals. Note: Since October 2006, Employment Ontario's Adjustment Advisory Program has been responsible for dealing with all adjustment projects involving layoffs and shutdowns – both new proposals and requests for extensions to existing agreements from single companies, community organizations, or sectors.
