Ontario Job Bank


The Ontario Job Bank is a web-based network of job postings that are available to all Canadians. Job seekers will find jobs posted on this site not only from all areas of Ontario but from across Canada. The Ontario Job Bank, at www.jobbank.gc.ca, is part of a network that allows employers to post job opportunities nationwide.

What services are available?

To access job advertisements in the Ontario Job Bank:

  • Click on www.jobbank.gc.ca.
  • Choose English or French.
  • Click on Job Search on the introductory page.
  • Choose Ontario (or any other province).
  • Refine your job search by keyword, job title, job number, locations in Ontario, or date posted, or look for newly posted job ads.

Job seekers can access additional features from the introductory page of the Ontario Job Bank website. These features include the following:

  • Job Match, which allows job seekers to create their own job profile and advertise it to potential employers, as well as receive a list of job opportunities that match their skill set
  • Job Alert, which allows job seekers to receive, by e-mail, a list of job openings that match their individual search criteria
  • Career Navigator, which is a navigator tool that helps individuals with career decisions
  • Résumé Builder, which helps to create résumés for personal use or for applying online for federal government jobs through the site

Who can access these services?

All features of the Ontario Job Bank are available to all individuals.
