Supervised Alternative Learning: one day training session – November 9th or 10th

On September 29th, you received a memo addressing changes to Supervised Alternative Learning (SAL), part-time attendance and attendance policy for 14-17 year olds.

This message is to request board teams to attend a one-day training at Mowat Block on:

November 9: Thunder Bay and London region DSBs

November 10: GTA, Ottawa, North Bay/Sudbury and Barrie region DSBs

Board teams should include up to 4 or 5 people selected from supervisory officers, principals, attendance counsellors, social workers, and teachers (e.g. Student Success Teachers, co-op or guidance).
