Thank you for your continued support of Kindergarten to Grade 3 children, educators and families. The recent virtual session in support of board leadership teams, teachers, early childhood educators, principals, early years leads, “Making Pedagogical Documentation Come Alive” has been archived and can be accessed here

One of the questions shared in the chat windows was around support for administrators. The above session can be helpful for administrators wanting to see how assessment flows from documentation practices, pedagogical documentation analysis to writing comments for the Kindergarten reporting templates. Further virtual sessions in support of Pedagogical Leadership Kindergarten to Grade Three (PLK-3) have been placed on the calendar. Audiences who may be interested include: board leadership teams, early years leads, ELL leads, teachers, early childhood educators, administrators.

The 90 minute sessions, focused on studying teaching, pedagogy, learning and assessment across Kindergarten to Grade three, will be repeated in three different time slots (9:30 a.m., 1:15 and 3:30 p.m.) as follows:

February 23rd, March 6th, 2018 Focus: Pedagogical approaches for Kindergarten to Grade 3
April 17th, 19th, 2018 Focus: how Kindergarten children grow and develop in relation to the acquisition of an additional language and how educators can support this learning
