e-learning Ontario

Recently, boards and high schools received samples of a brochure, Online Credit Courses for Ontario's High School Students, that lists all of the e-learning courses available to students.

The brochure can be ordered through ServiceOntario Publications or downloaded from the ministry website.

The attached matte article provides an overview of e-Learning Ontario's resources and services. Feel free to use it in your newsletters for parents.

Homework Help

Homework Help is a free online math tutoring service available for students in grades 7 to 10 math in 31 school boards. If your school board is part of the pilot, please consider including the attached customizable matte article in your communications to parents.

E-learning contacts have just received Homework Help posters for display in schools and stickers and brochures that promote the program to students.

The Healthy Schools Recognition Program

The Healthy Schools Recognition Program promotes and celebrates healthy behaviours and practices in Ontario's schools. Schools pledge to take on a healthy activity in their school – and receive recognition for it. Schools can start a new activity or build on an existing one.

The Premier and the Minister of Education will recognize participating schools with a certificate and pennant.

For more information and to apply, visit the ministry's website.
