Association Francophone de Parents d'Enfants Dyslexiques ou ayant tout autre trouble d'apprentissage (AFPED+) Parent Engagement to Support Achievement and Well-Being of Students with Learning Disabilities The Association Francophone de parents d'enfants dyslexiques ou ayant tout autre trouble d'apprentissage (AFPED+) will provide video resources for parents whose children attend schools in the 12 French-language school boards in Ontario. These resources will educate and support francophone parents by informing them of the various forms of learning disabilities and related strategies to support their children's learning. $7,500
Canadian Parents for French (Ontario) Parents as Partners – Leadership Forum and School Community Webinars Canadian Parents for French (Ontario) will host a parent leadership forum and webinars for parents in school regions across the province that have not been previously served. Parents will learn strategies and practical tips on how to support their children's learning in French as a Second Language, Core French, Extended French or French Immersion programs. $10,000
CÉP de l'Est de l'Ontario – Parent Involvement Committee Community-Cafes at the CEPEO: Learning Opportunities for Parents The Parent Involvement Committee of CÉP de l'Est de l'Ontario will hold community cafés with variety of activities to help parents become better equipped to support their children's learning. Topics will include early childhood education, numeracy, mental health and wellness, and Indigenous education. $15,000
Conseil scolaire catholique Providence – Parent Involvement Committee Technology Supporting Parents The Parent Involvement Committee of Conseil scolaire catholique Providence will provide parents with information and training on technology used in schools and how to support digital citizenship. $8,000
Conseil scolaire Viamonde – Parent Involvement Committee Parent Engagement 2018 The Parent Involvement Committee of Conseil scolaire Viamonde will provide a networking session to help parents foster engagement in their respective schools as members of their school councils. They will also develop print and electronic resources that support parent involvement and strengthen the capacity of parents related to identified topics that meet their needs in supporting student achievement and well-being. $10,000
CSD du Grand Nord de l'Ontario Explo! A Fair to make CSPGNO families sparkle – Towards resilience CSD du Grand Nord de l’Ontario will host an event for parents on strategies for supporting their children's cognitive, emotional, social, and physical well-being. The project will also equip parents with various strategies to support student well-being such as adopting a holistic approach, increasing communication between school, home and community, and providing parents with an opportunity to connect with other parents. $12,500
CSD du Nord-Est de l'Ontario – Parent Involvement Committee CSPNE's Parent engagement symposium The Parent Involvement Committee of Conseil scolaire publique du Nord-Est will organize meetings with parents to gain a better understanding of their needs, and for parents to discuss and share strategies on ways to foster parent engagement in their children's learning and well-being. $8,000
CSDC Centre-Sud Well-Being at School from a Young Age CSDC Centre-Sud will provide school councils with training activities, workshops and resources to help increase parent involvement in their respective school communities. The workshops will help raise parents' awareness of the importance of parent involvement and better equip them to support their children's learning and well-being. $8,000
CSDC de l'Est ontarien Community network "meilleur départ" and Prescott-Russell parents engaged as co-learners CSDC de l'Est ontarien will hold conferences in five municipalities where parents will learn more about the importance of early childhood development. The conferences will include discussion forums and provide resources for families and children to facilitate the transition from home to kindergarten and school. $7,500
CSDC des Aurores boréales – Parent Involvement Committee Supporting parents to help their children learn The Parent Involvement Committee of Conseil scolaire de district catholique des Aurores boréales will organize a symposium to provide parents with tools and information on supporting their children's learning in the areas of reading, writing, numeracy, and problem-solving skills. $12,500
CSDC des Grandes Rivières,/span> Promoting parent and family well-being daily Conseil scolaire de district catholique des Grandes Rivières will host a conference to promote strategies and practices that encourage well-being for both students and parents. Parents will be provided with information and resources to foster and support positive and healthy school environments. $12,500
CSDC du Centre-Est de l'Ontario – Parent Involvement Committee Parents-children-school triangulation The Parent Involvement Committee of CSDC du Centre-Est de l'Ontario will provide a forum and various workshops on parent and family involvement within schools. The project will facilitate the creation of networks between parents, school council members and schools. $8,000
Parents partenaires en éducation Outiller les Conseils d'écoles pour améliorer la relation parent-école-communauté Parents partenaires en éducation (PPE) will hold consultations with parents to understand the gaps and successes they experience in their engagement with schools. Through this project, PPE will also identify best practices, mentorship opportunities for school councils and PICs, and resources to support and enhance parent engagement in their children's learning. $10,000
RESO (Regroupement des parents et amis des enfants sourds et malentendants franco-ontariens) Supporting the well-being of deaf or hard of hearing children The Regroupement des parents et amis des enfants sourds et malentendants franco-ontariens (RESO) will hold a series of regional conferences to identify the concerns, questions and needs of parents with deaf or hard of hearing children. These events will provide parents with a venue to participate in workshops, presentations and discussions, share their experiences with other parents, and learn from professionals who work with deaf or hard of hearing children and their families. $10,000
