How does it work?These classes are offered in many different places such as school boards, community agencies and colleges. Some classes are offered during the day. Others are offered in the evenings or on the weekend. In some communities, there are also ESL and FSL classes designed for business, and to help people with job hunting. Sometimes English classes may also be called LINC, which means Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada, or ELD, which means English Literacy Development.
