Schools and School Boards
- Administration: Ontario's schools are administered by 72 district school boards and 33 school authorities. "School authorities" consist of geographically isolated boards and hospital school boards. School Boards are divided as follows:
- There are 4,011 elementary and 892 secondary schools in Ontario (2006-07)*.
Education Funding
- For 2008-09, the government's total investment in education is $19.06 billion.

- Number of teachers (FTE Full-Time Equivalent): 118,682.26, consisting of 73,375.67 elementary and 45,306.59 secondary. (2006-07)
- Number of administrators (principals and vice-principals) (FTE Full-Time Equivalent): 7,296.22, consisting of 5,396.43 elementary and 1,899.79 secondary. (2006-07)
