Information on postsecondary education programs and important factors that affect postsecondary choices can be found through different media and sources. Many of the following sources are not related to, or endorsed by, the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities unless otherwise indicated. The descriptions provided have been obtained from the source publications themselves.
College Calendars
Course calendars may be obtained from each college and from secondary school guidance counsellors. These calendars provide specific information on programs, fees and prerequisites. You can find the addresses, telephone numbers and website addresses for each of Ontario's colleges in this section.

The Ontario College Application Services provides administrative systems and application processing services for Ontario's colleges of applied arts and technology, three agricultural colleges and the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences.
A number of useful tools are available on the OCAS website. To link to college web sites, select "Ontario Colleges" at the bottom of the web page. A program locator facility can aid in finding a specific program. The Application Handbook gives information on the
process an applicant must follow. Applications to programs may be made on-line or you can request a paper application form.

OSAP makes loans and bursaries available to help students go to university, college, or other postsecondary institutions. The OSAP web pages provide detailed information about the loans and bursaries funded by the provincial and federal governments as well as other sources of financial assistance.
- Prospects: Ontario's Guide to Career Planning

Developed from the annual edition of Canada Prospects, this useful guide is aimed at high school students, counsellors, teachers, youth, and others interested in career information. It contains interactive quizzes, résumé and portfolio advice, hotlinks to career-related websites, latest labour market information, and features Ontario schoolwork success stories.

JOB BANK is an electronic listing of jobs provided by employers everywhere across Canada. Job Search allows you to search by occupation or to search all jobs posted in the last 48 hours. The website has a number of related links to other government sites to help job seekers in their efforts to find a job and to assist employers with their recruitment needs.

- YouthPath Career Planning and Employment Resources for Youth

The YouthPath site contains information about jobs and employment for youth, such as finding out about careers, about abilities and interests, education and training, job opportunities, and much more.
The YouthPath site brings together all the youth employment information available from the Government of Canada. It also has information about youth employment from groups, organizations and businesses other than government.

The Labour Market Information service provides general and detailed information on local labour markets across Canada. This information can help people to search for work, and to make general employment, training and career decisions.

- Occupational Outlook Handbook
