More Teachers

More teachers means more attention for each child

Our goal is to reach every student. That means giving teachers the time to provide children with more individual attention.

With the announcement of funding for the '07 – '08 school year, the government is now providing school boards with funding for 7,000 additional elementary school teachers. Almost 70% of these will teach in primary grades to give our youngest students a better start.
